Our spot is in the Shiv Dayal Commercial Complex over in the Harmu Housing Colony area. We are on the second floor. Being right on the Argora Bypass Road, near Shivdayal Nagar, is quite convenient because it avoids the worst of the city center traffic. The building usually has a lot of people coming and going for different businesses. Inside our office, it stays fairly quiet unless we have a few people visiting at the same time. We have partitioned off a couple of rooms for our work. There are stacks of documents that always seem to be growing, but we have our own way of keeping track of it all. Most of the staff here have been working together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm. We usually sit down and eat our lunch together in the small back area. It’s a very plain-looking office with white walls and basic furniture. Nothing here is for show. We find that being near the bypass makes it much easier for folks coming from the outskirts of the city. Sometimes we end up staying late to finish things off, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. It is an honest living and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss. The neighbors in the building are nice too.
