Rmec Projects Ltd.

We’re over at Zamindra House on Harhir Singh Road in Morabadi. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned spot, which fits us well at Rmec Projects Ltd. Anand Kumar Choubey and the rest of us work out of this place in Ranchi. It’s more of a house than a standard office building, but it works for what we do. We’ve got desks set up in the rooms and plenty of files stacked everywhere. Jharkhand is a place where you have to be patient with how things move. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different project sites. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in the office at the same time, especially during the rains when nobody wants to be outside. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you just find whoever is closest to the door. We handle various project tasks, mostly coordinating between different people and making sure things are moving forward. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There are stains on the walls and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most days are just about keeping the paperwork straight and dealing with whatever problem comes up next. It’s just a regular local operation, nothing too fancy, just trying to get through the work week.
