Risenarise Foundation

Our place is at House No. H-89 in the Harmu Housing Colony. It is a well-known area in Ranchi, especially being so close to Kartik Oraon Chowk. The Risenarise Foundation is basically run out of this house. It is not some fancy glass building, just a regular home in a busy colony. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. Ranchi is growing fast and you can feel it right here at the chowk. There is always noise and movement outside. Inside the house, we keep things pretty simple. We have a few desks and some chairs where we sit and talk about what needs doing. We are not into big slogans or fancy marketing talk. We just try to help out where we can. Living and working in the Harmu Housing Colony means we see our neighbors every day. They know what we are up to. Sometimes people drop in just to say hello or ask a question. We like being part of the community like this. It feels more real than being in a big office park. We have been here for some time now. Most of our days are spent on the phone or working on the computer, but we always have time for a cup of tea. It is a straightforward setup and we like it that way. We are just local people trying to make a bit of a difference for the folks around us.
