Mantri Roadways

We operate out of Ratu Road, which is a major stretch for anyone moving goods around here. Mantri Roadways has been at this location for a while, and we’ve got a small office where we manage the trucks and the drivers. The phone rings a lot with people asking about where their shipments are or when a vehicle will be available. Ratu Road is always full of heavy traffic, so we hear the sound of horns and engines all day long. It’s a busy environment, and things can get a bit hectic when several trucks arrive at the same time. Our office is pretty basic—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We don't have time for anything that isn't practical because the transport business doesn't really stop. Sometimes the drivers come in for a break and we hear stories about the roads and the weather in different parts of the country. We spend a lot of time checking logbooks and making sure the fuel receipts are in order. It’s a lot of paperwork and coordination, but that is what keeps the wheels moving. We aren't a big corporation with polished lobbies; we are just a hardworking crew on Ratu Road trying to make sure everything gets to where it needs to go. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it, and we’ve gotten pretty used to the daily grind of the roadway life.
