Ranjeet General Store

Ranjeet General Store is located right at Firayalal Chowk on the Old H B Road in Ranchi. We have been sitting here across from the Bank United Of India for a good number of years now. It is a busy part of town and we see a lot of people coming and going every single day. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where you can find the things you need for your house. We stock up on pulses, rice, soaps, and those little items that always seem to run out at the wrong time. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or folks who pass by on their way to work. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is trying to finish their shopping before heading home. We try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes are stacked in the corners because new stock just arrived. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough, but the ceiling fan keeps things moving. The street noise is constant outside since we are in such a central spot. If you are walking down towards the chowk, you will see our sign. We don't really do much advertising, people just know we are here. It is a simple life running a store like this. We know many of our regulars by their names and what they usually buy. It’s just how things work around here for us. Every day is pretty much the same and we just keep at it because this is what we do for our living.
