Working at Ranchi Cements & Chemicals means spending a lot of time around the Argora Housing Colony. Our office is at M.F.A. 91, and it’s a pretty standard place for a business like ours. We have a lot of history in the Ratu area of Ranchi as well. Being in Jharkhand, we deal with a lot of heavy industries, and cement is always in demand. The office gets a bit messy with all the sample bags and chemical reports lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s not the kind of place where you need to wear a suit. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. The weather in Ranchi can be quite nice in the winter, but during the summer, the office can get pretty warm. We spend our time talking to contractors and making sure the supply chain is moving along. We’ve got a good group of people here who don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty. Sometimes we have to drive out to the sites in Ratu to see how things are going, which is a nice break from the desk work. We don't go in for big marketing speeches. We just tell people what we have and when we can get it to them. It’s a very practical way of doing business in a city that’s always building something new.
