Ramesh General Store

We have been here at the Dhurwa bus stand for a good while now. It gets busy in the mornings when the buses start moving and the kids are heading over to the Convent School nearby. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where you can find what you need for the house. Ramesh started this because he wanted a spot right here near the Holi area. We keep things like soap, snacks, and those small items people realize they forgot at the last minute. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the traffic from the road, but we try to keep it tidy. Sometimes it is quiet, and we just sit and watch the people going by. Most of the folks who stop in are living nearby or just waiting for their ride. We know a lot of the faces around here. It is nice being close to the school because we see the students all the time. Ranchi weather can be a bit much in the summer, but the shop stays decent enough. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name over the door. If you are near the bus stand, you will see us there. We handle things ourselves and keep the shelves full when we can. It is a simple life running a store in this part of town. We just open up early and stay until the evening rush settles down. That is about it really.
