Rajesh Store

Up on D B Road in Ranchi, there is a small place called Rajesh Store. It’s located at 1, Rajesh Store, in the 834002 area. I’ve been running things here for a while, and it’s a pretty steady routine. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and I spend a lot of time mopping the floor to keep it clean. It’s just a regular shop where people from the neighborhood come to get their supplies. I don’t have a huge staff, usually just me or one other person helping out with the heavy lifting. We have all kinds of things crammed onto the shelves, from snacks to cleaning supplies. It’s not a very big shop, so you have to move carefully so you don't bump into anything. Ranchi is a place where people talk to each other, so I end up hearing a lot of stories throughout the day. I sit behind the counter and wait for the regulars to show up. Sometimes the stock runs low on certain items, and I have to make calls to get more delivered. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the whole day. D B Road has changed a bit over the years, with new buildings going up, but this store stays mostly the same. I like the familiarity of it all. It’s just a basic store for the local people, and that’s plenty for me to handle.
