Rajeev General Store

Rajeev General Store is located on Ratu Road, quite close to the Bank of Baroda. Our shop is in the 834001 district of Ranchi. Being near the bank means we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. It is a convenient spot for us, even if the parking situation on the main road is often a bit difficult. We have been running this general store for many years now. It is a typical setup with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling to make the most of the floor space. It might look a bit like a maze to someone who hasn't been here before, but we know exactly where every item is tucked away. We don't use any complicated computer systems; a simple notebook and a pen usually do the job for us. The constant noise from the vehicles on Ratu Road is something we have just grown used to over time. We open the doors early and don't close until late in the evening. It is a steady, quiet kind of life. We are not trying to be the biggest or the best; we just provide what the local people need. It is nice to see the same regulars coming in every week. Many of them stop by just to have a quick chat about the weather or the news. That is the kind of place this is. Just a small shop near the bank.
