Raj Trust Hospital

Raj Trust Hospital is located in Satrangi Bajar over in Hulhundu. We are pretty close to the NH25, so it’s easy for people traveling that way to see our sign. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like it here. The building is a decent size and we have a few beds for people who need to stay over. We call it a trust hospital because that's how it started out. We deal with a lot of different cases since there aren't many other big places nearby. The floors are made of stone and they stay cool even in the summer heat. We have a small garden area in the back, though it’s mostly just weeds and a few hardy plants right now. The staff here is mostly local people from Hulhundu and the surrounding villages. We know our patients by their names, not just by a number on a file. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the generator, which makes a lot of noise and smells like diesel for a while. It’s just part of living and working in this area. We aren't trying to be a five-star facility. We just want to make sure people have a place to go when they are feeling sick. Satrangi Bajar is a lively place to be located, especially on festival days when everyone comes out to the market to buy things for their families and friends who live nearby.
