Prince General Store

Prince General Store is a simple shop located on Ratu Road in Ranchi. Our pin code is 834001. We have been operating from this location for quite a long time now. It is a general store, so we stock a bit of everything that people might need for their daily lives. The shop is not very big, but we try to use every inch of space we have. Ratu Road is a major thoroughfare, so there is always a lot of activity outside our front door. We see many of the same people every single morning when they come to pick up their essentials. It is a straightforward way to earn a living and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. There are no fancy mission statements or big advertisements for our store. We just focus on keeping the shelves filled and being available when our neighbors need something. Some days the weather is nice and people linger to talk, while other days everyone is in a hurry because of the rain or the heat. We’ve seen the neighborhood evolve over the years. Even as Ranchi gets bigger and more crowded, we stay right here in the 834001 area. It is hard work but it is what we know. We close up the shutters late in the evening and start all over again the next day. It’s a regular life for us.
