Pramod Kr Sharma

I run things from Quarter No 114 in the RMIS Colony at Bariatu. My name is Pramod Kr Sharma, and this is where I do my teaching. It’s not a commercial building or a big office tower. It’s a government colony, so it’s much quieter than the center of Ranchi. The streets are lined with trees and it feels a bit more like a home. Because it’s a residence, the atmosphere is very informal. Students usually come into the living area or the side room where I’ve set up some tables. It’s a very different vibe from the big institutes in Lalpur. I’ve lived in Bariatu for a long time, so most of the neighbors know what I do. I don’t have a big sign outside or anything. Usually, people just find me through word of mouth. I spend my day looking over various subjects and waiting for the students to arrive after their school day ends. It’s just me here, so I handle everything myself, from the teaching to the scheduling. Sometimes the house is a bit messy with books and papers everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working from home. It’s a simple way of living and working. I like the peace and quiet of RMIS Colony. It makes it easier to concentrate on the lessons without all the city noise. That is how I have always done it.
