You can find Prakriti Kavach Foundation at Dinesh Kr Yadav’s place in Pota. That’s in the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a nice area with a lot of trees and open space. Our address is 825301 if you are looking it up on a map. The foundation isn't based in a big office building. Instead, we work out of a local house which makes it feel much more like part of the community. There’s a porch where we sometimes sit when the weather isn't too hot. Most of the time, we are inside at the main table, going over our plans and writing things down. Hazaribagh has a decent climate most of the year, but the winters can get a little chilly, so we keep some blankets around. We are just a small group of people who know this land well. We don't use any complicated systems, just some simple ledgers and a couple of phones to keep in touch with everyone. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We see the same faces every day and that’s how we like it. There’s no pressure to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do our work, and maybe have some tea with whoever stops by the house. It’s an honest way to spend the day in Pota without any unnecessary fuss.
