We aren't a big school or a college, just a foundation that focuses on education for the people around here. Most of our work is done in the house or sometimes out in the street if we’re talking to parents. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't have a shiny office or a lot of employees. It is mostly just Shekhar and a couple of others who want to help kids with their studies. We think that being local and staying in the neighborhood is a good way to really understand what the students need. The muhalla is usually full of life, and we like that energy. We spend our days looking at books or talking about how to get better resources for the local kids. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do here in Pithoria. We are just trying to make a small difference.
