Pari Asha Development Foundation

You can find us at Shop No. A-1 inside the Mariyam Complex. It is right there at Kantatoli Chowk in Ranchi. Being at such a busy intersection means there is always something going on. The Pari Asha Development Foundation is run out of this small shop space. It isn't very big, but we make it work. There is a lot of traffic and noise outside, but once you step into the complex, it is a bit better. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk where we handle all our paperwork. We don't do anything flashy. Most of our time is spent talking to people who come by the shop looking for help or information. We are just regular people trying to do some good in the city. Kantatoli Chowk is a landmark, so it is easy for people to find us. We have been in this shop for a bit now and we have gotten to know the other shopkeepers in the complex. It feels like a little community. We don't have a fancy website or big advertisements. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. Every day is a bit different, but we stay focused on the tasks at hand. It is a simple way of operating, but it suits us. We are just here at the chowk, doing what we can for the people who walk through our door.
