Oxford Pharma

Ranchi is a decent place to be, and our spot near Usha Martin is where we do everything for Oxford Pharma. It’s not a huge setup, just enough room for the medicine stocks and a couple of desks for the paperwork. If you’ve ever been to this part of Ranchi, you know it’s mostly industrial and busy. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure the boxes are going to the right pharmacies. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking, which can be a bit boring sometimes, but it has to be done. The air is a bit heavy with the smell of the nearby plants, but you get used to it after a week. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at my desk because there aren’t many good places to eat nearby unless you want to walk a long way. The floors are concrete and the lights flicker a bit, but we don't mind. We have a small team, and we’ve all been together for years, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. Mostly just jeans and a shirt because of the dust. We keep things moving, and that’s about it. There’s always another shipment coming in or going out, so we stay pretty busy.
