Nirmal Store

Nirmal Store is located at Patel Chowk on Harmu Road in Ranchi. It’s a well-known spot and easy enough to find if you are in the area. We’ve been running this store for a good while, providing the basics to anyone who stops by. We carry things like milk, bread, eggs, and all the usual groceries. The road outside is usually busy with cars and bikes, so it gets a bit noisy during the day. We have a small bench outside where some of the older men sit and chat while their wives are shopping. It’s a plain shop with wooden shelves and a simple counter. We don't try to make things look more expensive than they are. We just focus on keeping the essentials in stock. Sometimes we run out of things because the truck didn't show up, but that’s just how it is. We know our customers well and they know us. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually let it slide until next time. That’s how things work in a neighborhood like ours. The winters in Ranchi can be chilly, so we keep the chai going behind the counter. It’s a humble business, but it keeps us fed and connected to the people around Patel Chowk. We try to keep the front area swept clean every morning before opening.
