Niki General Store

Niki General Store is located right on the Main Road in Hatia, Ranchi. It’s a busy spot in the 834003 zip code. We’ve been running this shop for a while now, and it’s become a part of our daily routine. We stock all the basic things a household might need, like spices, grains, and washing powder. The store is quite packed, so we have to be careful how we stack the bags and boxes. Often, we are climbing up and down to get something from a high shelf for a customer. It’s a lot of physical work, but it keeps us busy. We know most of the families who live around this part of Hatia. They stop by on their way to the station or after work. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, and the small fan we have doesn't do much, but we keep going. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop where people come to get their supplies without any fuss. We try to keep the prices fair and the shelves as full as we can manage. Dealing with the loose change is usually the hardest part.
