New Laxmi Store

New Laxmi Store is located at Birsa Chowk in Ranchi. If you are near the St Peter area, you have probably walked past us a few times. We are a small local shop selling daily essentials to the neighborhood. It is a simple setup with shelves lining the walls and a main counter where we handle the cash. We carry things like milk, snacks, tea leaves, and other bits and pieces people realize they have run out of at the last minute. The traffic at Birsa Chowk can be quite something, so it is always loud outside. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. People just come in, ask for what they want, and we get it for them. Sometimes we run out of things if the supplier does not show up on time, but that is just part of running a business here. I spend a lot of time organizing the racks and making sure the older stock is at the front. It is a bit cramped inside when more than three people enter at once, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. We know their names and what they usually buy. It is not a glamorous job, but it provides for the family and keeps us part of the Ranchi community. We open early in the morning so people can get their supplies before work. There is always a lot of dust from the road to clean.
