Nature Aashiyana Foundation

Nature Aashiyana Foundation is located at Building Number 177 on Station Road in Rehla. We are right in the Bishampur area of Palamu district. We’ve been here for a while and the name basically says what we care about. We think the local environment around Rehla is important and we wanted to do something to help look after it. It’s not just about trees though, it’s about the people living here too. We are a small group of locals who decided to stop just talking about things and start doing them. Our office on Station Road is a simple place where we keep our tools and meet up to plan our next steps. We aren't corporate professionals and we don't have a big budget. Most of what we do is just manual labor and talking to folks in Palamu about how we can keep our area nice. We don't have any big slogans or missions. We just wake up, see what needs to be done, and try to do it. It’s often hot and the work can be tiring, but we like being outside and being useful. If you are near the Rehla post office or station, you might see us around. We’re just regular people trying to take care of our home. It's a quiet life but we stay busy. Hopefully, the work we do now will make the place look better for years to come.
