Nandlal Store

Nandlal Store is a small place located on Gurudwara Road in the Hatia area of Ranchi. We are quite close to the Hatia Thana, so most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We have been here for many years, just running a simple shop for the local community. We sell a bit of everything, the kind of things you realize you need at the last minute. Our shop isn't modern or polished. It has that old Ranchi feel to it, with wooden shelves and a floor that’s seen a lot of feet. We don't really do any advertising. Word of mouth from the people around Hatia is how we keep going. The road can get quite busy, especially with the Gurudwara nearby, but we like the energy of the place. It’s just us working here, usually one or two family members at a time. We know our customers by name and often stop to have a quick chat while we are bagging their items. We aren't trying to compete with the big supermarkets. We just want to be a reliable place for our neighbors to get what they need without any fuss. Life moves at its own pace here in 834003. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. It’s a humble business, but it is ours and we are proud of it. We are always ready to help our customers find stuff.
