Nandan General Store

Nandan General Store is out here in the Ratu area of Ranchi. This part of town is a bit further out from the center, so things move at a different pace compared to the main city. We are right on the Ranchi Road. It’s a good spot for people traveling through or living in the nearby colonies. We keep a mix of everything in the shop. From little things like matches and salt to bigger household items, it’s all here somewhere if you look hard enough. The shelves are mostly wooden and a bit old now, but they hold everything up just fine. Running a store like this means you don’t really get many holidays or breaks. We are usually here from early morning until the streetlights come on. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just use a torch or a small lamp to finish up for the night.
