Mohit General Store

We are located at 1, Mohit General Store over on A G Office Road in Ranchi. This area gets quite a bit of foot traffic especially with the offices nearby. I spend most of my time behind the counter checking what’s running low. It’s a basic shop where you can find stuff for the house. We have pens, notebooks, some snacks, and cleaning supplies. Ranchi - 834002 is where I’ve spent most of my life so I know the regulars well. The shop isn't very large so things are stacked pretty high on the back shelves. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find a specific brand of tea someone wants. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and be near home. Every morning starts with a quick sweep of the front. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the door when it pours heavy in Ranchi, but we manage. I don't have a computer system or anything, just a calculator and a notebook. People come in to buy a single cigarette or a whole bag of sugar. It’s a quiet living but it keeps me occupied from morning till night. A G Office Road is a good spot to be. If you need something small for your kitchen or your desk, we probably have it tucked away somewhere in a corner of the shop.
