Bariatu Road is one of those places that never seems to sleep. We are located right along this stretch. It is a long road with a lot of different clinics and shops, so you have to keep your eyes peeled for our sign. I work here at the hospital and it's mostly about keeping up with the flow of patients. We get people coming in from all the nearby villages and the city too. It's a mix of everything. The rooms are usually full, and the nurses are always on their feet. There isn't much time for sitting around. We don't have fancy brochures or anything like that. If you come in, you'll see us filing papers or talking to families in the hallways. The air conditioning sometimes struggles when it’s really hot outside, but we manage. It’s a very real environment. You see life happening in all its forms every single day. Some people are worried, some are just waiting, and we are just there to facilitate. The address is simple, just Bariatu Road, but the work is constant. We try to keep the queues moving, even when the system is slow. It’s a job like any other, but with more responsibility I guess. We don't try to sound like a big corporation. We are just a team of people in a building on a busy road.
