Mahavir Sppinng Mills Ltd

Our place is in the Dena Bank Building on Pustak Path in Upper Bazar. Ranchi is a busy town and Upper Bazar is right in the thick of it. We are c/o Ajeet Traders, so you have to look for that name sometimes. The building is quite old and has a lot of character. We deal with the spinning mill side of things, mostly coordinating and handling the trade part of the business. It is usually quite noisy outside with the rickshaws and people shouting. Inside, it is a bit quieter but always busy with people coming in to check on orders. We have stacks of samples everywhere. It is a lot of thread and fabric talk all day long. I have been sitting at this same desk for a long time. The view out the window isn't much, just the street and other shops. We don't do much advertising. People in the trade know who we are and where to find us. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street outside flood a bit, which slows everything down, but we just wait it out. It is a simple business, really. We get the stuff from the mills and make sure it gets to the right people. It keeps us on our toes. There is always someone looking for a specific count of yarn or a better price.
