Maa Tarapith Dairy Industries started up in Dahu, Ormanjhi, not too far from Sildiri. It’s mostly just Rakesh Narayan Tiwari and a few of us handling the daily milk runs and dairy tasks. We operate out of his place. It isn't a massive corporate setup with shiny floors, just a practical space where we keep our records and manage the cows. Being in the dairy business means we are up before most of the world. The animals need tending to every single morning, rain or shine. We have been part of this Jharkhand community for quite some time now. People around Ormanjhi know us because we’ve been living and working here for years. There isn't anything fancy to our story; we just work hard to keep the local supply going. The roads around Sildiri can get pretty messy when the monsoon hits, but we always find a way to get the work done. We aren't trying to be the biggest dairy in the country or anything like that. We just want to keep things running steady and honest. My cousin helps out with the transport when things get busy. It is really a family-type operation at its core. We spend the bulk of our time either at the facility or out checking on things. If you ever drive past Rakesh’s spot, you’ll likely see us. We don't have a marketing department. We are just a bunch of regular people making a living in the dairy trade. Sometimes the coolers break and we fix them ourselves. It’s just how it goes.
