Maa Laxmi Stores

If you are walking down B.T Road in the Upper Bazar area of Ranchi, you will find Maa Laxmi Stores easily. We are right there near Seva Sadan, which is where a lot of people go for their business. The shop is small and the ceiling is quite low which makes it feel cozy. I have spent many years of my life here in 834001. It is a busy place with a lot of noise coming in from the market outside. I try to keep the place tidy but with so many things coming in and out it is hard to stay on top of it. I usually have a few small stools for people to sit on if they want to chat while I am packing their things up. The air in Ranchi is nice most of the time but the dust in the market can be a bit much for the lungs. I have got shelves full of different items and I try to keep them filled up every day. Every morning I sweep the front of the store before the crowds arrive. It is just a regular shop where we sell what people need for their homes. I don't have any fancy lights or big posters on the walls. The address is easy to remember since everyone knows the Upper Bazar area well. I see the same neighbors every day and we talk about the local news. It is a lot of standing and reaching for things.
