We've been here on Harmu Road for a while now. Most folks in Ranchi know where the Hyundai showroom is, and we're just right across from it. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things organized behind the counter. My name’s been on the lease here and we just show up every morning to get the doors open by the usual time. The shop isn't fancy or anything. Just rows of shelves with whatever people usually come in looking for. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially in the evenings, but it's home for us. We handle the prescriptions as they come in and try to answer questions if someone's unsure about a label. There’s a lot of people walking by all day. We see the same faces every week, mostly neighbors from around the Harmu area. It’s a small team here. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this one shop. We keep a notebook for orders if something isn't in stock. Life in Ranchi can be fast, so we try to just stay steady. If you're driving past the showroom, you'll see our sign. It’s nothing too flashy, just a regular place where you can get your medicine and maybe a bottle of water. We try to keep the dust off the shelves but with the road right there, it's a constant job. That's basically us. Just a local chemist shop doing what we do every day.
