Lemos Cements Limited

Our office for Lemos Cements Limited is actually located with Pandey Transport Agency. We are behind Ashok Cinema on Ranchi Road in Marar. It is a bit of an old-school location. Sri Vijay Pratap Pande’s son runs things here. Being behind a cinema means there is always something going on, especially in the evenings when the crowds show up. Ranchi Road is a major route, so we see a lot of trucks and transport moving through. Since we are in the cement business, being near a transport agency makes a lot of sense. The office itself is quite plain. We have some old desks and plenty of ledgers. It is a dusty business, dealing with cement and transport, so we do not worry too much about having a spotless office. We focus on getting the loads out and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It is a lot of manual work and coordination. We spend a lot of time talking to the workers and the truck drivers. The area around Ashok Cinema has changed over the years, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they come by when they need to talk about cement. It is a very direct way of doing business. We are just local people doing our part in the construction supply chain.
