Lemos Cements Limited, Ranchi

We are based over here in Ranchi, specifically at Gangajal Valley Apartment which is right by Sai Hospital on Bariyatu Road. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been running Lemos Cements Limited from this office for a while now. Amit Kumar and the rest of us stay pretty busy with all the logistics that come with the cement trade. Dealing with R.N. Thakur’s place as our base of operations means we are right in the middle of things. Most days are spent on the phone or tracking shipments coming into Jharkhand. Cement isn’t the cleanest business but it keeps the city building. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the orders sorted and make sure the trucks are going where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic on Bariyatu Road makes things a bit slow, but we manage to keep up. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. Being near the hospital means it’s always crowded, but we like the energy. It’s just us doing our part in the local supply chain, making sure builders have what they need when they need it. It is hard work and the paperwork can get a bit much, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with heavy materials in a place like Ranchi. We just try to keep things moving day by day without too much fuss.
