We’ve got our office on the fifth floor of Hari Om Tower, right on Circular Road in Ranchi. Room 505 to be exact. It’s a busy building in a busy part of town. There’s always people coming and going from the various shops and offices in the tower. Our space is pretty standard. We’ve got some desks, a few cabinets for all the files, and a water cooler that’s always getting empty. From the window, you can see the traffic on Circular Road, which is usually a mess during rush hour. We handle the main administrative and sales tasks for the Ranchi region from here. It’s a bit more "city" than our plant offices, but it’s still far from being a fancy corporate headquarters. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we usually take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We spend most of our time on the phone with dealers or checking inventory levels. It gets a bit noisy with all the street sounds coming in, but we’re used to it. We don't go for anything flashy. No art on the walls or designer furniture. Just the stuff we need to do our jobs. Most people who work here have been with the company for years. We just try to keep the business running smoothly in this part of Jharkhand.
