If you come to the Burdwan Compound, you have to head up to the 2nd Floor of the Sri Sai Tower to find us. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't using the stairs often, but there is a lift that works most of the time. Being on the second floor means we get a slightly better view of the compound, though we spend most of our time looking at eyes instead of out the window. The office is laid out simply. We have the reception desk right as you walk in and then the rooms where we do the testing. It’s usually pretty calm up here compared to the street level. We keep the equipment covered when it’s not in use to keep the dust off. Everything in an eye clinic needs to be very clean, so we do a lot of wiping down surfaces with alcohol. The chairs in the waiting room are a bit mismatched but they are comfortable enough for a short wait. We’ve got some posters about eye health on the walls that have been there for years. We see people of all ages, from kids to the elderly. Sometimes the hallway outside gets a bit noisy if the other offices are busy, but usually, it’s just us. Kamal Eye Clinic has been in Sri Sai Tower for a while now. We know the security guards and the people in the other units. It’s just a normal working day.
