Kabiraj Dairy Farm (Opc) Private Limited

If you go out towards Soba Burmu in Ranchi, you’ll eventually find us. We are located near the Bhawani Shankar Mandir in Berwari. You can hear the temple bells ringing every morning when we are starting our day. This is Kabiraj Dairy Farm. It’s technically an OPC, which means it is a one-person company, but it feels like more than that because of all the local neighbors who help us out. The farm is right there in the village, surrounded by green grass and hills. We deal with cows and milk every single day, starting well before the sun is even up. It’s quite cold in the winters here, and you can often see the mist hanging over the fields. We don't have a glossy brochure or a team of marketing people. What we have are cows that need feeding and milking three times a day. Our office is just a small room at the front of the property with a desk and a few chairs for visitors to sit. We spend most of our time outside anyway, as that is where the real work happens. The smell of fresh hay and cow dung is just a normal part of our job. People from the nearby villages stop by often to chat or buy some fresh milk for their families. It’s a very local thing. We don’t try to act like a big corporation because we aren’t one. We are just people living in Berwari.
