Jindal Power

We are based in the Dakra Colony, which is part of the Ranchi district in Jharkhand. Our specific spot is B/193, and it’s a pretty quiet area overall. Being a part of Jindal Power here means we are right in the heart of a region that knows a lot about energy and mining. Dakra isn't a big city, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. The office is situated in a way that it feels more like a part of the community than just some big company building. We’ve got trees around the colony and it feels a bit more relaxed than being in the middle of Ranchi town. Our daily routine involves a lot of monitoring and administrative work to keep things running. There are a lot of papers to sign and records to keep updated. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits and ties. We’re more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of crew. We deal with the power sector, so there’s always something that needs attention, whether it’s a supply issue or just general maintenance talk. We drink a lot of tea and spend time discussing the local news. It’s a practical life out here. We don’t have any big slogans on the walls. We just focus on making sure the power stuff is handled correctly from our end. It’s a decent place to work with a lot of familiar faces around.
