You can find us at House No. 78 in the Baseriya area, specifically in number five. We are quite close to the Kali Mandir, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are located. In Dhanbad, landmarks like the mandir are more useful than maps sometimes. The house is a regular residential building that we use for our office work. It’s not a glass building or a high-rise. It feels like a home because it mostly is. We sit in the front rooms and do our paperwork. The street can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just Dhanbad life. We have a small sign, but you really have to look for it. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We don't have a receptionist; if you knock on the door, one of us will just get up and open it. It’s a very informal way of working, but it works for us. We deal with a lot of local stuff and people stop by to chat or ask for help with their forms. The fan runs all day in the summer and we drink a lot of water. It’s just a plain, honest workspace where we try to stay on top of our daily tasks. No big corporate meetings, just us figuring things out as we go. It’s been our base for a while and we’re used to the neighborhood noise and the local pace.
