Our site office is right near Nepal House in Doranda. It’s close to the Jharkhand Armed Police camp. You can hear them training sometimes while we are working on the blueprints. Ranchi gets quite dusty during the construction season. We have been at this location for a bit now. We handle a lot of the local building work. There are trucks coming in and out all day long. It is a busy spot. We have a small cabin for the staff. It’s not fancy, just some chairs and a map of the site. We spend most of our time outside anyway. The sun gets hot in the afternoons. We make sure the concrete is right and the steel is in place. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't have time for fancy speeches or polished brochures. We just look at the plans and get to work. The crew is mostly from the surrounding areas. We’ve worked together on a few projects now. It’s a solid group of people. We deal with the weather and the mud when it rains. Sometimes things get delayed, but we try to keep moving. If you’re looking for the office, just ask anyone near the police camp. They know where the construction trailers are. It’s just how we operate here. We usually have some cold water ready for anyone who stops by the site.
