Hindalco Industries Limited

We are located over at 16/79 G in the Civil Lines area of Kanpur. If you know Kanpur, you know Civil Lines is one of those places that has a lot of history and old buildings. Our office is like that too. It’s not a brand-new glass tower; it’s just a solid, older building where we do our work for Hindalco Industries Limited. The streets outside can get pretty crowded with rickshaws and cars, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a bit of a breeze if the weather is right. Mostly, it’s just us sitting at our desks, handling the local business. We’ve been here for years, and the walls are covered with old charts and some calendars. There isn't anything polished about it. The tea man comes by every morning, and that’s usually when we catch up on what’s happening. We don't use much fancy equipment, just what’s necessary to keep things running. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Living and working in Kanpur means you get used to the noise and the pace of the city. We don't try to act like we are in a big corporate movie. It’s just a regular office where we show up, do our tasks, and go home. It’s practical and it works for us. Even the creaky floorboards have become a sound we don't really notice anymore.
