Hatia General Store

Hatia General Store is right on the Main Road here in Hatia. Ranchi is getting bigger, but this part of town still feels like home to us. We’ve had the shop for a long time, and it’s mostly just us keeping things running day by day. You can find all the normal house stuff here, from cooking oil to notebooks for the kids. Since we are on the Main Road, there is always a lot of dust and noise, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just a simple counter and shelves that go up to the ceiling. People stop by on their way to work or when they’ve forgotten something for dinner. It’s not a fancy place at all. The floor is a bit worn out, and we usually have a radio playing in the back. Sometimes we get shipments late or the truck gets stuck in traffic, but we do what we can to keep the stock up. Residents around the 834003 area know us well enough. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop open so people can get their groceries without going too far. It's quiet in the afternoons when the sun is hot, but otherwise, it's fairly steady. Just a local Hatia business doing its thing on the main road. Our family has been part of this neighborhood for generations now.
