G.S Prasad Store

G.S Prasad Store is located in JP Market in the Dhurwa area of Ranchi. Our address is 834004. We are quite close to the cricket stadium, which is both a blessing and a bit of a headache. When there’s a big match, the whole road gets blocked and the crowds are huge. On those days, I sell a lot of water and snacks. On regular days, it’s much quieter. I sell the usual grocery items like pulses, rice, and cooking oils. The shop is tucked away in the market, so you have to know where you’re going. I’ve been in JP Market for a while now. The walls are a bit stained from the damp during the monsoon season, but the roof doesn't leak. I keep a radio on the shelf to listen to the news or some music while I work. I don't have any employees, so I do everything myself from lifting the heavy sacks to counting the change at the end of the day. It’s hard work on the back, but it keeps me busy. People in Ranchi are generally friendly and I enjoy the chat when things aren't too rushed. I don't bother with fancy packaging or anything. If you want something, I weigh it out and put it in a bag for you. It’s a practical way to live.
