Our office is tucked away in New Amrawati Colony in Doranda, which is a fairly quiet part of town compared to the main roads. Punam Tiwari manages things from here and it’s basically just a local setup where we handle real estate matters. It’s not like those big corporate places you see in the city center with glass walls and uniforms. We just sit around the desk and go through land records or talk to neighbors who are looking for a bit of space nearby. Some days are just filled with phone calls that don't go anywhere and other days we are out in the sun looking at boundary walls and checking measurements. Doranda has changed a lot over the years and we've seen it happen while working here. It gets a bit dusty around the colony when the wind picks up, but it’s home for us. We don’t really do much advertising because most people just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the name on the door. It’s a small operation, mostly focused on the local streets around this side of Ranchi. We try to keep our paperwork organized but it’s a lot of back and forth with the registry office. We usually lock up around six unless something urgent comes up. It's just steady work, keeping things moving one day at a time without too much fuss. There is always a lot to do but we take it as it comes.
