Emcons

In the Rajpur area of Kolkata you can find us at 96 Acharya Debendra Road. We go by the name Emcons. This part of the city is a bit different from the main center but it's still quite active. Our building is easy to find if you are looking for the post office nearby. We have a modest setup inside with some basic furniture and our equipment. It isn't a place with a lot of decorations or fancy lighting. We just have what we need to get through the workday. The windows look out onto the street and we see the rickshaws and people going about their business. Most of the staff has been here for a long time so we are all pretty comfortable with each other. We don't have many formal rules about how things look as long as the work gets done correctly. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to find a place to sit if a big shipment has come in. It’s a bit cluttered at times but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about mundane things like the local news or the weather. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. We just show up and do our jobs every single day. It might not be glamorous but it is what we know.
