Edutribes Foundation

We are based on the second floor of Vatika Apartment, specifically in Flat No E-1. If you know the Line Tank Talab Road area, you probably know where that is. It’s a decent spot, right by the water. We spend most of our time thinking about education for tribal communities. The name Edutribes kind of gives it away. It isn't a massive operation with a lobby and a receptionist. It is just a flat where we keep our books and papers. The stairs can be a bit steep if the lift isn't working right. We see a lot of students coming in and out throughout the week. They come from different places to see how we can help them with school or training. We don't have any big corporate sponsors or a glossy brochure. We just try to make things easier for the kids who don't have much. The traffic on Talab Road can get pretty loud during the day, but we've gotten used to it. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the latest news about tribal rights. It’s a very grounded way of working. We aren't experts in everything, but we know the local situation well. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy looking at paperwork. It’s a practical place for practical work. We mostly just want to see more kids from the tribes getting through their exams.
