Our office is in Ranchi, located at Rajmohan Prasad Sinha’s place in Ashok Nagar on Road No. 2. We are right across from the Central Ground Water Board office. It is a plain building, nothing special to look at, but it’s where we do all our work. We handle a lot of packages and courier shipments for people in the city. Every day is a bit different. Some mornings are very quiet, and we just sit around drinking tea and waiting for the first delivery truck to arrive. Other times, the office is packed with boxes, and we can barely move around the desks. We spend a lot of time writing out receipts by hand and weighing parcels on our old scale. The scale is a bit moody sometimes, but it gets the job done. We have been in this part of Ranchi for a long time now. We know the people who live nearby and the other shop owners on the road. The traffic on Road No. 2 can get pretty bad in the evenings, but we stay until the last package is sorted. It is not fancy work, but it is honest. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to get things where they need to go. If you are looking for us, just find the water board building and look across the street. We’ll likely be there, probably moving some crates or filling out forms.
