Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd. has a spot here in Ranchi at a place called Abhilasha. It is care of Sri. D.K. Thakur and sits right behind the Mesra Basic School. We are in the Neori Vikas area, which is a bit out of the main city center. This location is where we sort out the parcels and letters that people need to send. Being behind a school means it gets quite lively when the kids are let out, but the rest of the time it is just us and the packages. We have been working from this spot for a while, and the people around here know us well. It is not a large corporate office, just a practical space where we can keep things organized. We spend our mornings sorting through what came in overnight and our afternoons getting things ready for the evening dispatch. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in Ranchi. We do not have any fancy uniforms or anything, just a small team of us trying to make sure the mail doesn't get lost. It is honest, steady work. People drop by with their envelopes, we weigh them, and then they go into the pile. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far.
