Door Point Industry

If you walk down Lake Road near Bada Talab, you’ll find us at Shop No-14 in the Occ Compound. Door Point Industry is a small operation, mostly just a few of us handling the daily orders. Being near the lake is nice, though the breeze can get a bit chilly in the winter months. The shop is full of materials and bits of metal or wood depending on what we are working on that week. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t have a big marketing department or a website that looks all shiny. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It’s tedious work sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. The Main Road is always noisy with bikes and trucks, so we usually have the radio playing to drown it out a bit. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule; if the work is done, we might head home early, but usually, we stay late to finish up. It’s just a local business trying to stay busy. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just making sure the stuff we make holds up. It’s honest work and it keeps us out of trouble. Sometimes the coffee is cold, but we don't complain much.
