Dilux Acc Parlour

You can find Dilux Acc Parlour over in Cobra Market on Police Line Road. We are situated right opposite Suchna Bhawan on Kanke Road in Ranchi. It’s a pretty easy place to find once you are in the area. I’ve been here for a while now, and the shop has become a bit of a fixture in the market. We mostly do hair cutting and shaving for the local men and those working in the nearby government offices. The "Dilux" name was something we chose to sound a bit nice, but we are just a normal, everyday shop. We have some sturdy old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is made of simple stone and we try to keep it as clean as possible. It gets quite busy in the mornings before people go to work. I have one assistant who helps me with the shaves. We don’t have any modern machines for booking or anything like that. People just walk in and wait their turn. The market is always buzzing with activity, so there’s never a dull moment. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply, so we keep a big tank in the back. It’s a basic life but I enjoy the work and seeing the same faces every week. We just focus on doing a decent job for everyone who comes in.
