Daily Needs

This shop is located in Hec Colony, specifically at Dt 1709 in the Dhurwa area of Ranchi. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main city, but there are always people moving about. We started this because the colony needed a place where you could just walk over and get the small things. You know how it is when you run out of salt or soap right in the middle of something. We stock the basics like grains, soaps, and some snacks for the kids who come by after school. The place isn't very big, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. It can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We don't really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. Most of our days are spent just chatting with the regulars and putting new stock on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around, but usually, things run okay. It is just a local store for the people living nearby. We try to keep things simple. Nothing fancy, just the daily items that everyone needs to get through the week. If you live in Dhurwa, you probably pass by us all the time without thinking much about it. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. We keep the doors open through the day and close up when the sun goes down and it gets dark.
