You can find us near Karan Pool in Lalghutwa, which is on the outskirts of Ranchi. Our plot number is 138 and the khata number is 61. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it is quieter here. We deal with resources and helping people stand on their own feet. The name is a bit of a mouthful, so we just focus on the empowerment part. The road near the pool can get a bit messy during the monsoon, but we are always here. We aren't a big NGO with a lot of funding. We are just local people trying to make the Chotanagpur region a bit better. We talk to farmers and small workers about what they need. Sometimes we help them get tools or information they didn't have before. Our office is just a basic building with a few tables and chairs. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just talk to people face to face. That's how things get done in Lalghutwa. People trust us because they see us every day. We aren't outsiders coming in to tell everyone what to do. We are part of the community and we want to see our neighbors do well. It's slow work sometimes, but it feels right. We keep a small garden in the back too.
