Bobby General Store

Bobby General Store has been on Kadru Road for quite a while now. We’re located right near Hotel Savera, which is a big landmark in this part of Ranchi. The 834002 zip code is where we belong. It’s a standard general store, nothing too crazy. We sell things people need daily, like biscuits, pens, and batteries. The space is a bit small, so we have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. It gets a bit cluttered, but we know where the small stuff is hidden. My brother and I take turns behind the counter. We see travelers from the hotel sometimes, and then we see the local kids coming in for sweets after school. It’s a good mix. The street outside is usually busy with cars and bikes. We keep the fan running during the day because it gets stuffy. There’s no big corporate vibe here. Just us and the customers talking about the weather or the price of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a torch to find things for people. That’s just how it is in Kadru. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just come to the shop near the hotel. We’re usually there from morning until late evening. It’s just a regular local business we run.
