We are up on the 4th floor of the Shree Gopal Complex on Court Road. It’s a busy spot. Mostly because of all the legal offices and people running around with paperwork outside. Getting up here to 4-A can be a bit of a wait if the lift is acting up, so some of us just take the stairs to get the blood moving. The office itself isn’t anything fancy. It’s got desks, computers, and a lot of wires tucked away in corners. You can hear the traffic from Court Road even this high up, but you get used to it after a week or two. Belcon Systems has been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us focusing on the screens and trying to stay on top of the list of things to do. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea because the local shops get too crowded during the lunch break. It’s a decent place to work. Even if the building is showing its age a bit. The walls are that standard office white, and we’ve got some calendars pinned up to keep track of the days. Sometimes the courier guys get lost finding the right floor, but once they know where 4-A is, they’re fine. It’s just a normal workplace. We get our stuff done and head home when the sun goes down. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep our heads down and work.
